
In 2004 I graduated at the Yoga Pilates Training Academy Australia in Byron Bay, as a Solomon Yogalates TM Trainer. In 2003 I completed a Diploma of Remedial Massage at The NSW School of Therapeutic Massage, combined with TAFE NSW.
Over 10 years I attended various Yoga classes and retreats, when my Yoga practice is regular I live a healthier and more peaceful lifestyle. In my experience Yoga's focus on alignment and breath awareness strengthens and opens both body and mind. Stretches and breathwork release stress, tension, toxins and emotions held within the body and mind. Energy levels improve and taking time out for YOU helps to create a peaceful mind. Last, but not least, it reminds you to breathe when life is moving too fast!
I was drawn to the Solomon
Yogalates TM Method because of the emphasis on safe yoga practice and the infusion of the Pilates core strengthening system - using the body intelligently, developing a strong foundation to approach all forms of exercise and movement with.
Yogalates TM focus is alignment and stabilisation of the Spine and Pelvis;- so it is not only great for beginners looking to start a Yoga/Pilates practice, but also useful for rehabilitation. It has been extremely beneficial in bringing my awareness to weaknesses in my own body, which I can now maintain myself. The combination of Yogalates and Massage therapy is useful for assisting mobilisation of joints after injuries, or breaking poor-postural habits.
I hope to share my experience with others by providing clients with a peaceful environment and a new awareness of their body and the breath. Find YOUR inner strength - and inner peace!
