950hrs YTT - Psychology Degree - Anxiety Disorders & Treatments
Karina started practicing yoga 23 years ago. After attending weekly classes for a few months, she noticed positive changes in her emotions, her quality of sleep and the way her body was healing small aches and pains. She knew she was onto something good and has continued her practice ever since.
In 2003 she completed a degree in Psychology at University of Wollongong along with anatomy and physiology studies for two years. In 2005 she completed her 200 hr yoga teaching diploma with Acharya Upendra Roy who took her spiritual path to deeper levels. Karina has been teaching since 2005 and in 2019 completed her 750 hr Yoga Therapy training.
Karina teaches a Hatha style of yoga, which builds strength slowly and steadily in body and mind, and assists in removing physical and emotional obstacles. She teaches a mindful class that includes yoga postures, breathing techniques and some quiet moments to give her students the opportunity to develop self awareness and achieve personal transformation.
