Welcome to Body Awakenings, my name is Rachael Farrelly and I am passionate about providing a space and practice where every person that visits this studio feels welcome and supported. I hope that your experience with us is one in which you can learn more about building a state of health and well-being through breath focus techniques, mindfulness and the physical practice of yoga. I believe yoga is for every body type, age and level of fitness. Beginners can attend all our classes as our experienced teaching can provide modifications for each student in our small group setting. We frequently hold beginners workshops and can notify you of the next date.

Michelle fell in love with yoga after initially being drawn to it as a physical workout and to find a little refuge for herself as a busy working mum with little ones. Discovering that yoga was truly so much more than flexibility, stretching or a bit of time out, but a journey of self-discovery, a journey home that allowed her to reconnect within and inspires her now to live each moment more mindfully.
Teaching yoga and meditation then just naturally flowed into an extension of her own practice. Michelle loves sharing this passion with others, especially busy parents alike to tap into the experience of self-enquiry, finding calm within and the invitation to take this both on and then off the mat, integrating it within their lives.
She is dedicated to support students on their yoga journey, add colour to their lives through creating both self-awareness and an inner sanctum in this busy, sometimes challenging world.
Immersing herself in continued learning also brings so much colour into her life as well as spending time with family, friends and Michelle finds inspiration, travelling to colourful places, being in nature and getting creative with textile design and colour.
Michelle is a qualified Hatha Vinyasa & Yin Yoga Teacher, Registered with Yoga Alliance and has always valued health and fitness in her life. Her style is calm and grounded, with care and attention on alignment and creating connection.
