Welcome to Body Awakenings, my name is Rachael Farrelly and I am passionate about providing a space and practice where every person that visits this studio feels welcome and supported. I hope that your experience with us is one in which you can learn more about building a state of health and well-being through breath focus techniques, mindfulness and the physical practice of yoga. I believe yoga is for every body type, age and level of fitness. Beginners can attend all our classes as our experienced teaching can provide modifications for each student in our small group setting. We frequently hold beginners workshops and can notify you of the next date.

Rebecca’s journey with yoga began in 2010, and after years of practicing she decided to share her love of yoga through teaching, starting in 2017. Like many, her journey started off predominantly physical, but over time her personal practice has become more spiritual. She has accumulated 500+ hours of training and is currently in training to become a yoga therapist. She loves teaching a class that embodies strong Vinyasa balanced with restorative Yin, and because Yoga is so vast, her ultimate goal for each class is to leave her students feeling balanced, calm, and clear. Whether one is on a spiritual path or not, she believes yoga is the greatest “technology” for enhancing the human experience.
