Welcome to Body Awakenings, my name is Rachael Farrelly and I am passionate about providing a space and practice where every person that visits this studio feels welcome and supported. I hope that your experience with us is one in which you can learn more about building a state of health and well-being through breath focus techniques, mindfulness and the physical practice of yoga. I believe yoga is for every body type, age and level of fitness. Beginners can attend all our classes as our experienced teaching can provide modifications for each student in our small group setting. We frequently hold beginners workshops and can notify you of the next date.

Hello everyone, My name is Suzi and so happy to be sharing my journey here , beginning 18 yrs ago with Bikram Yoga, then discovering Yin Yoga at Body awakenings 9 years ago and never looking back.
My daily practice was everything to me and when I realised I needed to deepen my practice, I took on my 200 hr Vinyasa YTT( Nicole Walsh/ Rod Gailbraith at InYoga) 2020, amidst the toughest year we all have had and now shining through to this amazing opportunity to find my path.
We were designed to move and always continue our growth in what inspires us, my never ending desire to learn and continue exploring all aspects of yoga, philosophy, anatomy , meditation and breathe work. Expanding my need to know more and share this with the students I have the opportunity to teach and guide in their own practice.
Studying Yin with Sarah Owen a practice that I find like a dessert, that beautiful piece of chocolate the end of a good meal. if someone leaves my class feeling a bit happier, feeling more free and calmer then I know I’m achieving my purpose as a teacher.
"Better the tree, better the fruit " Our bodies and mind are our tree and the more we nourish it , the more we can offer , all the good we have inside us all.
