Mayan Cacao Ceremony with Sound
with Tahnee Blacklock & Peter Bajic
Sunday May 2nd | 2pm - 4pm | $55
During her years spent in Guatemala, Tahnee participated in and worked with Cacao both in traditional Mayan Ceremony and through devotional practice, kirtan and dance. Experiencing the spirit of cacao as a participant and as a space holder, she would work with others both preparing and serving cacao for ceremonial and sacred use.
Tahnee returns from Guatemala with some locally sourced cacao, once again eager to share sacred space and opportunities to open, connect and heal on a heart level with others.
Tahnee will perform a traditional Mayan Cacao Ceremony accompanied by the gentle and supportive hum of Peter’s crystal sound bowls.
Tahnee will then guide you into heart opening and relaxing restorative yoga poses as Peter intuitively uses the drum, didgeridoo and Native American flute over and around your heart centre.
We will join in a heart opening mantra, concluding with tea & sharing.
This will be a time for relaxation and self-reflection, allowing inner calm and peace with the self. With this peace we can achieve mental clarity and insights into regaining our spiritual balance.
